“24 years carrying a family secret that stank of guilt, shame, and anger always been raged by it. I was always at boiling point in work. I found Therese on Facebook so I booked. When I met her I had a hope that I never had about anything. I was sick with nerves when I didn’t know what was going to happen or what Id remember but she made me feel ok. I went for four sessions of EMDR. I didnt’ have to talk about anything too much.The relief that I got was UNREAL. The stuff I thought about myself was bullshit and like a dirty poison leaking to everything in my life. Six weeks on and I am a different person. I smile, I don’t feel the pressure I felt all my life. I sleep all night. I don’t feel achey. I am looking forward not back. I feel happy. Thanks very much.”
