Like everything, Spirituality has a shadow side, a side that is not talked about so much. I think everyone on the Spiritual path can relate to times in their lives that they used Spirituality to avoid pain.
Seeing psychics, gurus and card readers searching for answers. Taking meditation and mindfulness courses, relying on Angel Guidance and Gratitude practises but never sitting with their own pain. Saying what's meant to be will be without standing up and being counted.
I have been there and now I see alot of clients who have spent years going to retreats, mediums, psychics and gurus. Spending alot of money and convincing themselves that they are dealing with their problems.
I am all for these practises provided Clients are doing their own Inner work, feeling, taking action and being proactive in their healing journey. Addressing issues and conflicts in their life. Setting healthy boundaries with people and learning how to love themselves unconditionally.
Spirituality means growth, awareness, direction and taking responsibility not avoiding, suppressing, bypassing or distracting from the issues at hand.
The truth is, you are the expert of your Souls Journey, you can access your own wisdom and answers when you are willing to sit with your pain, awknowledge it, feel it and release it. You have the power to transform your life, to feel calm, peace and joy. No other person or practice has your answers. You have the power and the ability to heal yourself.
